Case of 12 · 750 ml
Italian tables often carry two bottles, one still and one sparkling. This is the sparkling one, in 750 ml glass: Sant'Anna, collected from a protected source in the Alpine valleys of Vinadio, in Piedmont, at high altitude.
Its mineral content is strikingly low, 23 mg/L in total, with a pH of 6.9 and only small amounts of calcium, sodium and bicarbonate. The result is a sparkling water with clear bubbles and a light body, more about texture than flavor. Because nothing mineral gets in the way, it suits delicate dishes: crudo, risotto, vitello tonnato, a plate of agnolotti.
The glass bottle presents well at trattorias, wine bars and private dinners. At home, a case of 12 covers plenty of Sunday lunches. Order it online for delivery across the US, and ask about wholesale terms if you run a restaurant.
