Voss is an artesian water from southern Norway, drawn from an aquifer protected under layers of rock and sand. The tall, cylindrical glass bottle is recognized in hotels and restaurants around the world.

What sets it apart is how little is dissolved in it: just 22 mg/L of total dissolved solids, with 5 mg/L of calcium, 1 mg/L of magnesium and 6 mg/L of sodium. The sparkling version adds a fine bubble to that almost weightless base, and the pH sits at 6. There is no mineral edge at all, which lets it accompany anything from oysters to a delicate dessert.
